Welcome to the 6th annual Toby McCredie Golf Day

It is with pleasure that Tim, Penny, Jake and Lachlan McCredie invite you to attend the 6th annual Toby McCredie Charity Golf Day in support of Very Special Kids.

Currently, along with our family, Very Special Kids supports more than 850 families across Victoria throughout their experience of caring for children with life-threatening illnesses from diagnosis to bereavement. Such illnesses include a range of neuro-degenerative, genetic and rare conditions, muscular dystrophy and cancer. Many of these children will not reach adulthood.

The services provided include individual and family counselling, sibling programs, bereavement counselling and support & trained Family Support Volunteers. In addition, there is Very Special Kids House - Australia's first and Victoria's only hospice for children, which offers planned and emergency respite and end-of-life care.

Very Special Kids vision is for all families to be able access these services free-of-charge.

This year's event is scheduled for the 18th October 2011 at the spectacular Woodlands Golf Club. In 2010, with the help of friends and supporters we were able to raise almost $12,000. Join us by signing up a team of four or as a single player to take part in a four ball Ambrose tournament. All prices include a light lunch, green fees, refreshments on course, a scrumptious 3 course dinner including presentation ceremony as well as contributing towards our fundraising total. We also invite you to include your partners or additional guests for the evening events.

There will be some fantastic prizes up for grabs and exciting competitions held throughout the day.

Unfortunately whilst we have to accept there is nothing we can do to influence the length of time our ‘very special children’ are with us, there is much we can do to improve the quality of that time, for them and their families.
